Introduction:
Through my professional experiences at The Aga Khan
University Hospital Nairobi, I developed my artistic
skills and have become proficient in the use of several
major design programs. In addition I have demonstrated
the ability to be highly productive with both the
Windows and Mac systems. Within my range of experiences,
I have used my skills in designing advertisements,
posters, brochures, banners, flyers, gift vouchers,
press kits, book covers, patient/cafeteria meal menus,
event programs, book designs, the hospital's first
intranet e-bulletin, the library's online portal,
took part in the development of the hospital main
website (http://agakhanhospitals.org/nairobi/index.asp)
etc at a fast pace to meet the demands of clients
and the organization. This was accomplished by being
organized and having the ability to prioritize and
multi-task. By utilizing many different techniques,
I learned to apply creative solutions to distinct
problems.

design talent developed through knowledge and creativity.
To provide professional designs. To adapt and be versatile
to all ideas in advertising, fashion and graphic design.

Established in 1958, the Aga Khan University Hospital,
Nairobi is a 254-bed long-term care facility offering
quality health care. The Hospital provides general
medical services, specialist clinics and state of
the art diagnostic services.
In 2003, the Hospital was awarded the ISO 9001: 2000
(International Standardization Organization) certificate.
This certification is awarded only when a hospital’s
clinical, diagnostic, administrative and support services
conform to the ISO standards.
The Hospital also actively participates in outreach
health activities and addressing Nairobi’s public
health concerns. It has contributed, for example,
to the National Immunization Campaign by providing
free clinics in under-served peri-urban settlements.
